Patek Philippe Brooch watch

Patek Philippe brooch watch, circa late 1930s, featuring a small round 18k yellow gold case suspended from an articulated gold brooch. The sector dial features engraved floral motifs at its centre and poire-shaped hands. The floral theme continues throughout, with applied gold flowers set with small diamonds on both the caseback and brooch, and engraved floral motifs along the caseband. The manual-winding 8’’’-85 movement is signed and numbered Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva. The brooch is signed PATEK PHILIPPE and bears the French eagle’s head hallmark for 18k gold. The caseback bears the E.W. maker’s mark with a diabolo, attributed to Établissements Worms, the Parisian watchmaker and jeweller established by Maurice Worms in 1926 and documented for its work with houses including Cartier and Universal Genève.
