Audemars Piguet VZSS French case

A rare Audemars Piguet time-only wristwatch in pink gold with a salmon dial, made in France for the French market. It is powered by the Valjoux VZSS movement, featuring a small seconds at 6 o’clock.

The case construction is typical of French production from the 1940s. The crystal is elegantly framed, giving the watch a refined and balanced appearance. The case was manufactured by Raoul Righi (hallmark RR with a rising sun), a respected Parisian case maker who also produced cases for Universal G
